flames burning
cities ruined
blood splattered
children wailing
helpless dying
all seen at once
on a canvas
of a painter
who once
survived
rage of nations.

I see splashes of white
on a clear blue sky
I see patches of green
and tiny houses with lights
It is not a stupefaction
just god’s idea of painting.
*pic is a recent click of mine.. kudos. 😁

We all are bound to depart,
from places we love someday,
Willingly or unwillingly
Some leave with tears,
Some with memories..
and some never leave at all,
the places have remains of them,
echoes of their presence,
Forever.

We all are like birds
ready to soar,
in unconquered sky
turbulent air
torrential rains
for a glimpse of a sunshine
far away
and for that
we just need
a step ahead
and faith
in our Wings.
I saw you standing,
amongst the crowd,
lost.. looking for me,
in all places somehow,
our eyes met
and now i understand,
the spark is not over,
nor it ever can.

I see you sometimes,
even when you are not even there,
I hear you sometimes,
even when you do not even say,
I feel you sometimes,
even when you are not even close,
I miss you sometimes,
even when you are not coming back,
I visit you sometimes,
even when you are buried and dead.
I see her seated,
far in the room,
with someone I don’t know,
her lover I assume,
hands in unison,
eyes all met,
listening to the music,
candles brightly lit,
we see one another,
decide to avoid,
it’s time for me to leave,
to say her goodbye,
I walk past her,
she sees me around,
eyes finally met,
without a sound,
she calls my name,
wishes me goodnight,
I see her eyes,
and forget all sight,
walking in rain,
all I tell myself,
not again my heart,
you have already wept.
