Wish

If you ask me for a wish,
I would say a long dark winter,

where the sun has been consumed by ice
and turned like a dead cold floating moon,

where rivers have nowhere to be seen,
just white sheets till your eyes can wander,

where animals are hidden in caves
scared of the unknown wandering,

where screams are nothing comparable
to the howling of the winds

I would just wait for an eternity
at my window with thickest blanket

humming about snow, the sky and the darkness,
and writing about the spring to come
for eternity.

You are not Ready

You are not ready
to leave everything
and set out to face the world
to achieve the dreams

if you are worried of how people
will treat you

if you worried for your likability

if you need people to tell
what you are doing is good
and you should continue

if in the death of night you are worried
for your future

if in the harshest times you look back
and sigh with regret

chasing dreams is getting lost
purposely with acknowledging the fact
that you might not find yourself
back again ever.

Made of

We all are made of
blood,flesh and bones
a dysfunctional heart
that keeps pumping dreams,
love,memories to an ignorant mind
a soul that wants to wander in
galaxies unknown,
though immortal it is afraid
of the world out here

but don’t you know it already?
haven’t you felt it already?
the ignorant mind my friend,
the ignorant mind.

Every Time

The Evening Coffee,
Led Zeppelin for some time,
a day that went wasted again
a night that would devour
bits of me happily ,
till I feel nothing in the
sunny morning , still
be ready for a new day ahead.

But before all this
devour and massacre,
let me scribble a page
or few
as a memoir of the damned nights
I am seeking stars tonight
nor are they looking for me.
No wonder the nights don’t excite me
I wonder are the stars excited?
Every time.

A Lost Evening

redeveningsky
Of all the nights
and the beautiful days
in the thunderstorms
and the cold rains,
I knew somewhere within
we were not meant to be
together , forever
we departed as
the sky and the ocean
only to see each other
destined never to meet

But I still remember you
from a lost evening
when the sky bled red
blues were the only hues
the dogs moaned
and I waited for you
to comeback home.

Burn Within

I see everyone burning,
to dazzle the world,
people burning cash,
people burning fat,
people burning dreams,
just to be accepted,
just to be loved
from someone
sometime,
I find it useless,
to seek someone,
why not seek yourself,
why not burn within
why not dazzle yourself,
who knows
you might start
loving yourself
in between.

Frivolity

They mock the frivolity,
every bit of it that is left
inside each of us
just to make us look mature,
seldom do they know,
this frivolity needs mature minds
to understand and be contained,
It is never easy to neglect the kid inside,
you need a heart to let it play
and a mind to let it sleep.
