I do believe writing is a difficult task. It is not like blabbering whatever we want, but to reform our ideas with a purpose to inflict the eager reading minds with a side of us they have never seen. We let them not only read our work but also let them a peek to our very soul.It’s closest one can come to us.

Time for Awards

It was a good weekend, It just got better now with awards nominations. 😁

Thanks Soumi for Leibster and Sunshine Award Nomination,She is a terrific natural writer and please do visit her blog.

Awards are indications of faith on you,so I would now have to live up to the expectation of people who believe i deserve this award. Will try my best.

11 Facts about me:

1. I sleep very less, about 6 hours at maximum in a day and I am perfectly okie with it.

2. I like to read aspiring autobiographies whenever i am feeling low.

3.I somehow want to master the art of sarcasm,with witty one liners..True Fact.

4.I am very punctual in what I do,sometimes I don’t like being waited at all.

5. I mostly prefer flash fiction writing. I think a random topic and just write

6.I like being alone and travel alone,exploring new places. I maintain a journal of them.

7.In order to improve my reading speed over pending books,I visit book shops to see the new books I want to buy and read.

8.I like History and Wars

9. I have a cravings for White shirt and Tan shoes

10.If you want to make up with me in a deal gone bad..a brilliant book and chocolate would suffice.

11.I wish Tolkien,Hemingway were alive and writing wonders.

1. Why Blogging? How did you land up here?

I used to write in my diary,also called my “Black Book of Magic.” Some of my friends went through them and suggested me for a blog. I gave it a shot.

2. What is the brightest and darkest moments of your life?

Brightest moment for me is a remembrance by someone whom I care about. The world is full of billion people and finding a single person remembering and caring for you is worth the light.

I don’t believe in remembering dark moments.

3. What is the one weakness you have, you are unable to remove from your life?

I am not a very good Orator. I do get stage frights. I would like to work on them.

4. What are your dreams for next five year?

To be a Writer. Period.

5. Who has been the most influential blogger you follow and why?

Blair King. I like the way he writes on so so many topics.

6. Are you religious and/or superstitious? What are your beliefs?

I believe in a universal creator of Earth and Life. Nothing Else.

7. What is your favourite sport? If no sports, what do you like as your favourite hobby?

I love playing football,whenever I get time.

8. What is the importance of education as per you?

An Educated person has power to teach millions and start a new life any time. This is what can a good education only can do to a person.

9. What is love according to you? Is there anything like eternal love?

Love is when I see my mother happy when I smile.Yeah it is eternal

10. How is your relationship with your family and friends?

I am close to them and they are to me. I maintain a jolly nature with them and sometimes i am the wicked prankster.

The Leibster Award !!!

Hello Friends,
It’s a significant achievement to be nominated for this award. This is the first time i am being nominated and I would like to thank Chad D. for believing in my writings and nominating me for this award, you writings have always inspired me to write something better. 🙂

My Answers for your questions , Chad D. are following :- 

1) What is life according to the Writer in you?
-Life according to the writer in me,is to have a purpose that keeps you ignited mentally,physically and spiritually. The moment you have find the purpose, you don’t drag yourself through life, you simply start living it.

2) Why do you write?
-I write to end the chaos inside me, i write because it gives me happiness and i write because it is the only thing where i don’t mind the clock, i can go for hours and hours thinking what and how to write.

3) What brought you to WordPress?
– I have a diary of my own which i called a black book of magic, i used to scribble all my thoughts to it, one day a close friend of mine read all and said if you want to be a serious writer, you need exposure, guidance , a place to write and be loved. The next thing i knew i signed up to WordPress. I must say wordpress has lived to up it’s name till now.

4)What motivates you the most?
– To be honest the things that revolve around me and the events motivate me. If you observe carefully everything around the nature and people can motivate you, provided you have the right sight. 🙂

5) Share with me the link to your best writing (published). Why do you say it is your best?
– The Best Writing by me is ” The Sea and the Sky” .

I think this is the best because this thought came without reluctance to me in the middle of the night of a personal happening. Thoughts that don’t hover and cause illusions are the purest of all.

6) Do you show interest in politics? Why or why not?
– No, I am not interested in Politicis , I might take part in a discussion politics to you, but when it comes to interest it’s a big no. I believe a change between individuals within their heart is enough to make a country prosperous, Politics is a mere illusion to it.

7) If at all any, which is your favorite Bollywood movie?
-My favourite Bollywood Movie is Dev D, Starring Abhay Doel.

8) Where are you when you get most of your thoughts to write?
– In the bed middle of the night, hovering over thoughts to write , or mostly by travelling to distant places.

9) What are your other hobbies? Mention at most 3.
– Listening to Music, Reading Novels, Watching Documentaries.

10) What do you prefer: coffee or tea or any other beverage? 
– I prefer Coffee over Tea, and sometimes in alcoholic beverages, a Budweiser works fine !!

Writers who mattered. (Part – I)

There are few people who write, who pour their heart out,whose voices transcend through spaces,who take you on a fantasy ride you never wanna quit.These are the people who transform you inside out,make you wanna jump out of the window to feel gravity,to drown in the sea and never come back,to get lost in the stars even in the day. These are the writers who in my opinion have changed the way I feel books,the way I feel myself,the way i write.

1. Ernest Hemingway

“All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.”

He was a macho man of the literary generation of his time.His distinctive writings in  narrative form were blatant,pierced straight to heart and soul of the readers. Began his  literary career as a journalist for firstly the school magazine and then for Kansas City   Star.With a life full of adventure,people,mistresses and  places,this person was did  everything he could possibly do.His writings like “The Old Man and the Sea“, “Sun  also rises” and “Farewell to Arms” are commendable work of writings.These all reflect  the magnificent life he had. A Decorated Military Veteran he served as an ambulance  driver in the World War I for Italian Army.He was one of the “True writers”  whose work  even attract everybody equally even now.He told stories like no one ever did,there seemed  to be a true context of his every story that one could relate. He has been my soul i  inspiration for writing,for never giving up for the dreams you have.He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize in Litreature for his book ” The Old man and the Sea“.

His writings have a distinctive taste,the more i read of this person,the more i want to meet him. But Alas! some wishes are never meant to be true. Like a star that is far away from you,whom you can just see and cannot pay a visit.
His relations with women,drinks,adventures are all quite popular. His flash fictions are worth to be visited once.
His famous flash fiction “Baby shoes,for sale,never worn” haunted people by just 6 words. Such was his command over the thoughts. Some of the thoughts are given below.

Some Thoughts from him to rattle yourself :-

“I love sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I’m awake, you know?”

“The world breaks everyone, and afterward, many are strong at the broken places.”-
