World Without Glasses

Imagine a world without glasses,
with dull walls all around,
nowhere to see your face,
Nothing to brighten the light,
just dead walls,
no car windows,
no skyline view up from above,
no magical liquid contained in beer mugs,
Few people won’t be able to see around,
Few will be disillusioned,
but when someone asks me,
I say,
without glasses,
there would be no compare,
between beautiful and ugly,
between today and tommorow,
between wants and haves,
between where someone is from and where someone is going.
simple as that.

The Shoe Turned

image

Clothes unpacked,
scrambled over bed,
bookmarks scattered over the table,
laptop hibernated,
A burger half eaten,
cigarettes butts in ashtray,
a bottle emptied
and only a single shoe turned,
Forget about writing,
someone had a night.

Not Today

Disgusted and Tired,
I wake up in my room
and watch men walking to their offices
like a group of penguins
I feel the air grew warm and sad for me
but not warmer than my quilt
I see the day bright
but some days you want to drink darkness
and have hangovers of past
of times when you were not having a penguin suit
but just a naked scarred soul which was afraid to live like so.

Bring Up the Bodies

Within us,
everyone of us,
bodies of lie live,
the lies range from person to person,
some lie about their fears,
some lie about failures,
some about the strength they have,
some of the courage they hold,
the weight and scream of these bodies,
drag us down from the peaks,
make us fall,
make us nervous,
stop us from achieving goals,
because we have a habit of burying the past
and not facing it.
On a fateful day,
bring up those bodies,
and burn them till you suffer,
with lies,
the suffering is temporary,
the scars are mere signs,
that you are not ashamed of the truth,
that you face the world without lies,
just bring up those bodies and incinerate them
with the past you never wanted
and one day,
the peak will be yours,
you won’t feel the scars,
just the truth and nothing else.

Burn Bright

It takes more than fire
to burn bright,

It takes more than darkness,
to instill fear,

It takes more than love,
to replace someone,

It takes more than courage,
to kill,

It takes more than words,
to write.

Newspaper

Sheets of paper,
printed black and white,
knows the world better,
without a real sight,
I wish I was a newspaper,
I would know better then,
about the world inside me,
without a look in the mirrors again.

The Last Free Souls

In the sublime ocean of life,
where memories wanders as souls,
some float lifelessly at the brim,
some echo life even in the depths unknown,

In sheer darkness of times to come,
when the storm of time spares none,
obscure depths would remain untouched,
fulfilling the prophecies so blunt,

These are the last free souls,
of time unknown,
forgotten and stolen,
from lives of our own.
